The CICA has launched a new Client Development Brochure Series to help CAs build awareness about the services they provide and reinforce their expertise in various practice areas to new and existing clients. Available exclusively to CAs, the series covers topics such as new Canadian auditing standards (CAS), new accounting standards for private enterprises, international financial reporting standards (IFRS) and tax planning.
The brochures provide clients with a general overview of the changes to CAS, the new accounting standards for private enterprises, and the implementation of IFRS, opening up a discussion on how to help the client direct and manage their transition.
“By providing your clients with brochures from the Client Development Brochure Series, you are assuring them that as their CA, you are prepared for the changes that may affect their business,” says Brian Loney, director of publishing with CICA member services. “This can open the door for discussions on how you can help them implement any necessary changes within their organization.”
The brochures can be downloaded for free from the CICA website. Alternatively, CAs can purchase personalized copies of the brochures, with the name and contact information of their firm printed directly on the colour brochures.
