Tipping the scales

Consulting and outsourcing firm Accenture will soon have more staff in India than it does anywhere else in the world. The company announced in January it would hire an additional 8,000 in the sub-continent by Aug. 31, for a total headcount of 35,000 — 5,000more than it has in the US.
